Slowing the Left’s Lysenko-Gore Climate Change Hoax

For years we have been bombarded by warning after breathless warning by followers of Al Gore’s global warming brigade. The tactics were familiar, equating skeptics to Holocaust deniers, faking data for the sake of promoting a lie, marketing the lie to children though television shows and movies. Perhaps the worst offense is how these ideologues use the schools to scare children with lies about the dying polar bears and seals. The tactic is perpetrated in a very coercive and manipulative manner that tugs at the heart and gives nightmares to unsuspecting children. They are everywhere, scheming, prodding and adjusting, even as the argument is pulled out from under them one lie at a time.

The global warming hysteria has been unmatched with a response in kind by people that knew the truth. Perhaps that is why they have been so successful. Convincing global warming believers that they have been sold a lie is worse than training a new puppy. Eventually the puppy gets a clue and starts going outside instead of peeing on the floor; but not so for the global warming alarmist. Liberal deniers of science that handily refutes their world view of a pending global warming apocalypse never learn. They simply regroup and recalculate, back again to puff and shout another day. This is troubling.

Forget the fact that Al Gore is a partner in a company that has invested billions of dollars in other companies that stand to profit financially from a carbon trading scheme. Forget the fact that a BBC reporter sat on the leaked CRU e-mail’s for over a month that indicated a massive fraud in the scientific community to manipulate climate change data in favor of the lie being peddled by those on the left. (By now most are aware that the e-mails were eventually published by the source in frustration that he/she couldn’t get the media to publish them; something the New York Slimes still refuses to do while Paul Krugman laughingly and embarrassingly doesn’t find a smoking gun in the coverup – See what I mean, Krugman is a dog that can’t be trained to pee outside; a flat earther through and through.) Forget the fact that the data in which much global warming theory is based on was destroyed in a coordinated effort instead of being handed over in a freedom of information act request. And forget that almost all our sources exposing the scandal and coverup are from UK journalists and not U.S. sources that refuse to publish it because they have been part and parcel of the scam.

Scratch that, don’t forget any of that. That is what the global warming alarmists want you to do, and more. They are so invested in the scam that they are happy to ignore reality and look like complete fools; after all, it feels good.

In 2004 the “academic” left was up in arms because the Bush Administration refused to climb on board with eco-terrorists known as the Union of Concerned Scientists by refusing to back recommendations of the IPCC supporting a new wave of legislation and regulation to combat man made global warming.

The George W. Bush administration consistently sought to undermine the public’s understanding of the view held by the vast majority of climate scientists that human-caused emissions of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases are making a discernible contribution to global warming.1

After coming to office, the administration asked the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) to review the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and provide further assessment of what climate science could say about this issue.2 The NAS panel rendered a strong opinion, which, in essence, confirmed that of the IPCC. The American Geophysical Union, the world’s largest organization of earth scientists, has also released a strong statement describing human-caused disruptions of Earth’s climate.3 Yet even in the face of this overwhelming scientific concensus, Bush administration spokespersons continued to contend that the uncertainties in climate projections and fossil fuel emissions are too great to warrant mandatory action to slow emissions.4

Note the keywords and phrases of the propagandist alarmists, “overwhelming scientific consensus“, “undermine the public’s understanding of the view held by the vast majority of climate scientists”, “strong opinion“, “a strong statement describing human-caused disruptions of Earth’s climate”, “human-caused emissions“. Cleverly designed wording to stifle debate and cast aspersions on those that were aware of the scam from day one.

Like willing dupes or well aware propagandists left leaning blogs, mainstream media mouthpieces, well respected magazines and scientific journals teamed up and offered breathless condemnation of the Bush administration; one of many narratives that dogged the administration and followed the GOP into the 2009 elections. (Funny how they aren’t as outraged at the latest irrefutable coverup).

Wired Magazine and Scientific American both stared parroting bloggers by comparing Bush to Trofim Denisovich Lysenko, the Stalinist director of science in the 1920’s and 1930’s that condemned real science with a political campaign designed to further the communist party line. Many scientists were executed, the science of genetics was vilified (unless it pertained to Lysenko’s self taught version of the science) and true agricultural science was suppressed in a 40 year campaign that caused wide spread scientific and agricultural damage to the Soviet Union. It was an ideological assault on science designed to drive policy that had an amazing detrimental affect on Soviet society much the same as the global warming hoax is having on the world today.

The term is known as Lysenkoism, one the left loves to lob like a grenade against anyone that dare question their fuzzy science.

In the wake of the ever growing scandal that is rocking all but the most die hard adherents of global warming hysteria it is apparent that Al Gore’s brand of science is much closer to Lysenkoism than the Bush administration ever was. In fact the Bush administration should be regarded as heroic in its efforts to slow the Democrats and leftist scammers that are continuing down the path of eco-terrorist based legislation.

The EPA has already declared that the CO2 we exhale is a pollutant while simultaneously quashing a report that not only contradicted the claims of global warming but also disputed that CO2 pollutant axis. Very Lysenko like of them, yet nobody on the left bothered to get all huffed up about the suppression. (Watcher’s Note – The Link above is to a blog called Barrel Strength which I believe to be typically of a liberal pov. I find it interesting to see that both the global warming scandal and the cap and trade scam are getting attention by both sides of the blogosphere. While this is not typical, as evidenced by Krugman and other spokespeople on the left, I think the tide is turning. Even the referenced Rolling Stone article by Matt Taibbi seems to get it. This is a breakthrough.)

Perhaps the tide is turning. Perhaps. Some scientists are starting to distance themselves from the fake science by turning on one another and Al Gore is starting to be questioned about his profit motive. Better late than never. Will the real Lysenko stand up (or should I call him Alsenko?)

Let’s keep up the pressure.

The Council Has Spoken!

It’s Friday, and that means that as always Watcher’s Council has picked from amongst some of the best and most scintillating items in the blogosphere for our weekly winners…

In the Council category, the winner this week was The Razor with Obama The Weak Horse:

A friend who voted for Obama last year (and regrets his decision BTW) asked me why I opposed the civil prosecution of terrorists and supported military tribunals. He thought that treating them as run-of-the-mill criminals was an insult, and that by convicting and sentencing them in a military tribunal elevated their status from terrorist to warrior. Here are the reasons I gave him for why I believe that Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision is the worst political decision made since President Ford pardoned Nixon in 1974.

1. Confusion on the battlefield. Imagine that a terrorist has been captured near the Afghan-Pakistan border. The commander in the field has to consider what the likely political decision will be: will he be tried in an American civilian court or in a military tribunal? At the point of time of capture – and for weeks later – he won’t know whether to mirandize the terrorist and give him an attorney or detain him for military tribunal. This reflects the role of the military in conflict: are they soldiers subject to the rules of war, or are they well-armed policemen?

It’s not clear whether this political decision to try one terrorist in a military tribunal and another in a civilian court is even legal. One terrorist who is tried in military court could demand to be tried in civilian – or vice versa. Sen. Lindsay Graham pointed out yesterday in the hearing with the Attorney General that this was one example how the decision clearly wasn’t well thought out by Holder and the administration.

In the non-Council category the winner was Council alumnus A.J. Strata at The Strata-Sphere for Alarmist hide truth about (lack of ) global warming:

I have not had to work this hard on a post for quite a while, but the topic is – after all – the total annihilation of the Earth by man-made CO2. So I have set aside some work and free time to investigate some critical data that shows, without much doubt, that man-made global warming is a con, a false alarm created by shoddy statistics and faux science. The emails and data are conclusive in demonstrating a pattern of cover up and misinformation in this matter by CRU and others (especially if they were to be presented to a grand jury for possible indictment).

I will say this up front: some alarmist may have been overcome by self obsession over becoming apparent heros to planet Earth and all humankind. Not pretty, but understandable. But others are strictly in it for the power and the money, and I will let history sort who falls were. I will also say this, the person who hacked the Hadley Climate Research Unit (CRU) did the world a huge favor by exposing the real data behind all the global warming false alarms.

I am going to focus this post on two key documents that became public with the recent whistle blowing at CRU. The first document concerns the accuracy of the land based temperature measurements, which make up the core of the climate alarmists claims about warming. When we look at the CRU error budget and error margins we find a glimmer of reality setting in, in that there is no way to detect the claimed warming trend with the claimed accuracy.

    Watcher’s Council Nominations – Pre-Thanksgiving Edition

    https://i2.wp.com/www.kitchenproject.com/history/thanksgiving/images/thanksgiving.jpg?w=584

Welcome to the latest edition of the Watcher’s council, a group of some of the most incisive blogs in the`sphere. Every week, the members nominate two posts each, one of their own and one from outside the group for consideration by the whole Council. The Council votes to pick the winners in each category and the results can be seen in this space on Friday morning.

Thanksgiving’s upon us, our unique North American Holiday (yes, our Canadian friends celebrate it too, but on a different day a month earlier).

Oh, I almost forgot. It’s also celebrated ( and properly so) as a national holiday in the Caribbean Republic of Grenada, every year on October 25. That’s the day American Marines liberated them from Communist jefecito Maurice Bishop and his Cuban allies back in 1983.

Over the years, Thanksgiving has acquired a number of traditions here in America..foods like roast turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and pumpkin pie, football on TV, travel madness for those leaving town to be with their extended families…and a feeling of thankfulness for G-d’s bounty and the closeness to our families, sometimes unexpressed but never absent.

As you celebrate, try something…no matter your circumstances, take a long moment to reflect on your blessings. Be thankful for that bountiful harvest, for your loved ones, for your friends, for the fact that we live as free men and women in a free country. And remember that this is only a reality because other men and women are willing to endure hardship and be away from their own loved ones to keep it so.

President Bush, whatever his other failings seems to have understood that on a visceral level. Just for contrast with present times, I unearthed this old picture of him circa 2003 on a surprise visit to Iraq to help serve Thanksgiving dinner to our troops there and spend the day with them. And unlike someone else I know, President Bush wouldn’t have ever referred to it as a ‘pretty good photo op.’

Whatever else you do, take a minute to spend some time and enjoy the feeling of being close to the people that have always been there for you, the ones you can’t leave behind, as the song says. It’s important.

Best Wishes for an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving.

The Council Has Spoken- The Affirmative Action President And a Detainee Circus

Another week has passed, and the Council has spoken!

In the Council category, the winner this week was Bookworm Room with The Perils Of An Affirmative Action President:

My argument is that Barack Obama is one of the number of useless, mediocre people who, thanks to affirmative action, have been elevated to a position far above their natural abilities. The absence of grades is not the only indication of Obama’s intellectual weakness. (And believe me, if his grades were good, they’d be published in every paper in America, including the want ads.)

Everything Obama’s turned his hand to — except for using people to advance his career — has failed. The Annenberg Challenge was a $100 million disaster. His legal career was, to say that least, undistinguished. (I should add here that junior associates always have undistinguished careers. There’s just not that much scope there.) His tenure as an Illinois State Senator was marked by dithering indecision, coupled with the intelligent strategy, for a stupid person, of simply vanishing when the votes came around. The same holds true for his career in the United States Senator. If you examine those two tenures in political office without the gloss of the media love affair, all you’ve got is plenty of nothing.

Obama’s professorship at the U. of Chicago law school was equally undistinguished. He published nothing. His disquisitions on the Constitution show he knows nothing. That is, he doesn’t even have the true intellectual’s excuse of fully understanding, but nevertheless arguing against, the language of the Constitution itself or the standard interpretations of that language. I pity the students who had his class.

In the non-Council category the winner was The Rosistance for The Lawyer in the White House, the Spy in Federal Prison: Giving Away National Security :

The President is now going to give away our national intelligence gathering and analysis capabilities, as now “discovery” is in play, and you can bet the rest of the world will be clamoring for official transcripts of the trial, and full sets of all evidence, so they can discern how we finally caught them after we first let them do their harm to the nation and our society. The men who have cost this nation close to over 7,000 lives (9/11 and the military casualties), not to mention the tens of thousands who were wounded, and on top of all of that, the massive amount of spending to demolish, then reconstruct ships, and structures they destroyed. And don’t forget to add to that the spending, both governmentally and personally, in excess of just flying from one place to another, pretty much anywhere in the world, and the cost of the delivery of goods by shipping. Yes, airport/airline and port security are major costs we have had to bear because a few men think the entire world deserves to return the the salad days of living in the desert with tents and slaves from all other parts of the world they could easily reach, or take by force of arms.

Just as the disclosures by the New York Times regarding the tracking of terrorists by their cell phone signals put out our eyes, followed by the disclosure that the US was tracking money moving to the terrorists in the international electronic banking network put us in the dark again, the discovery process will be a very similar exposure of how we actually keep ourselves protected from mass murdering individuals and groups and other nations.
