Another predator takes advantage of a “gun-free” zone

Yes, gun free zones are the preferred killing grounds for evil doers, thugs, and human predators. Here we go again!

Crazed people, evil people, people intent on murder are predators, they seek easy marks, like people in gun free malls.Jenn Jacques explains

The Crossroads Mall in St. Cloud, MN was the scene of a frightening attack shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday night. Authorities were called to the scene when witnesses reported an individual was stabbing people with a knife.

WCCO reports:

Ashley Bayne works at the J.C.  Penney store in the mall. She was off Saturday night, but was visiting a friend at the store when the incident took place.

“I went closer to the mall entrance by J.C. Penney’s and I was looking at some jeans and all the sudden people were just running in chaos,” Bayne said. “They were screaming, ‘Someone’s stabbing people in the mall,’ and people were just really frantic and were running.”

It was unclear how many people were stabbed or what the extent of their injuries was.

“There were so many cop cars just responding to the area,” Bayne said.

“When I got in my car to get out people were speeding out of there,” she said. “By the time I left my coworker had texted me saying they had all gone into lockdown in the mall. There were no notifications in the mall at all, it was just people running and screaming.”

Police confirmed there are multiple victims with stab wounds and that the suspect is dead at the scene.

Here is your money quote folks, this could have been avoided if….

Just one armed citizen could have ended this attacker’s rampage before they had the opportunity to move on to their next victim.

When will we learn this lesson. Disarming good people only aids evil people

Contrast this story to the recent case a a pastor, his son, and his armed wife who were targeted by a predator

Police say the 48-year-old pastor and his 38-year-old wife, along with their 12-year-old son, were returning from a concert around 11 p.m. Thursday on the 1000 block of Pratt Street. That’s when a 66-year-old man with a rifle approached them near the parking lot of the Saint James Lutheran Church and demanded the pastor’s wallet.

“And I turned like I was going to get my wallet, but I was stalling. And he hit me in the head with the gun. He swung it like a baseball bat. This is the first time I actually thought I’d die,” said Pastor Robert Cook.

But the robber surely wasn’t expecting what happened next.

“And everything was like lightning for a minute. And then I heard my wife saying, drop the gun, drop the gun. I’m like ‘she’s got her gun!’ He turns towards her, and I said, ‘Shoot him! Shoot him!’ …and she shot him,” said Pastor Cook.

The pastor’s wife finally took her shot when the armed robber refused to drop his gun.

“Once he backed off from my husband and my son, it might have been a foot, two feet or something like that, but he still had the gun in his hand, he wouldn’t drop it,” said Stephanie Cook, wife. “As long as he had that gun in his hand, I knew he was a threat.”

Once again, an armed citizen thwarts a crime, protects their family, and the Cult of Gun Control will still deny that armed Americas deter crime
