Fake News dominated the news cycles in the last week as the news media blindly accepted as fact anything that discredited the duly elected 45th president of the United States.
It’s almost as if there were a virus of bias against Donald John Trump among reporters.
Trump weighs mobilizing 100,000 National Guard troops for immigration roundups
Except for the part where Trump knew nothing of a draft memo, that the memo made no mention of 100,000 troops, and that the Border Patrol does not do roundups, the report was almost true.
AP stood by its report 100%.
But, hey, Fake News never comes from the mainstream press, right?
U.S. intelligence has collected information that Russia is considering turning over Edward Snowden as a “gift” to President Donald Trump — who has called the NSA leaker a “spy” and a “traitor” who deserves to be executed.
That’s according to a senior U.S. official who has analyzed a series of highly sensitive intelligence reports detailing Russian deliberations and who says a Snowden handover is one of various ploys to “curry favor” with Trump. A second source in the intelligence community confirms the intelligence about the Russian conversations and notes it has been gathered since the inauguration.
The deal must have fallen through when Trump demanded Russia take Rosie O’Donnell in exchange.
Presidential adviser Stephen Miller peddled discredited theories about voter fraud during a round of TV appearances Sunday that won praise from his boss but brought no new evidence to light.
Three days earlier in the New York Times: “Illegal Voting Gets Texas Woman 8 Years in Prison, and Certain Deportation.” To be fair, maybe after three days it is not “new evidence.”
Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) said Friday night that his Republican Senate colleagues privately express “great concern” about President Trump’s temperament, and he joked about the GOP eventually impeaching Trump.
Yes because when it comes to people that Republicans confide in, no one quite beats a Democratic senator who wants to be the next president.
Dominican newspaper El Nacional on Friday printed a photo of Alec Baldwin doing his impression of President Trump on “Saturday Night Live” in an article about Trump and Israel.
I know, all Anglos look the same.
The White House still isn’t open for tours — and Congress is getting annoyed
Hours later from Fox News, “Melania Trump announces White House to reopen for public tours.” Maybe the Washington Post should have waited until the White House got back to them.
Freelance journalist Jenni Monet has been covering the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline and the ongoing protests opposing the $3.8 billion project since September of 2016.
She freelanced for “The Center for Investigative Reporting, High Country News and Yes! Magazine.” To be fair, her coverage of the protest showed as much objectivity as anyone at the New York Times.
Tom Brady says his teammates should put ‘politics aside’ when it comes to visiting the White House. https://t.co/UkbMaumxy8

“Everybody has their own choice,” Brady said regarding whether players should go to the White House. “There’s certain years, like a couple years ago, I wanted to go and didn’t get the opportunity based on the schedule — we didn’t get told until I think like 10 days before we were going, and at that point I had something I’d been planning for months and couldn’t get there. . . . It really is a great experience. Putting politics aside, it never was a political thing. At least, it never was to me. It meant you won a championship and you got to experience something cool with your team, with your teammates. Everyone has their own choice. It’s an offseason. These days are valuable for everybody. You only get so much time with your family and friends, and if people don’t want to go they don’t want to go and that’s their choice.”
Could have been worse. Could have quoted him as saying, “Everybody has…to go.”
U.S. immigration authorities have detained a 23-year-old Mexican man who was brought to the United States illegally as a child and given a work permit during the Obama administration, according to a lawsuit challenging the detention in Seattle federal court.
Poor little Dreamer turned out to be a gang-banger.
Melania Trump Is ‘Miserable’ as First Lady, ‘Unhappy With How Her Life Ended Up’
‘None’ of those ‘Quotes’ came from her.
What a great week for Fake News.
By the way, El Nacional was the only publication or news outlet to apologize for its mistake.
El Nacional still has more credibility than CNN. Faint praise, I know.
