Spinal Tap is one of my faves. Believe it or not, almost everything in that movie actually happened to bands on tour, and most of the characters are modeled after real people.

Most of the shows listed, mediocre at best. Carol Burnett was great, but Bob Newhart, Your Show of Shows, Red Skelton, those were much better than the rest of the list.My parents were also huge Ernie Kovacs fans, though I have not seen anything of his.

Some of the funniest movies I ever saw were: Evil Roy Slade, The Court Jester, The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Kind Hearts & Coronets, the Lavender Hill Mob/The Titfield Thunderbolt, Arsenic and Old Lace. Th eraciest films on the list are the Mel Brooks ones.
