China is licking its chops for a slice of Tajikistan — and a side of Japan
In 2011, Tajikistan ceded 1,000 square kilometers of territory to China in return for some debt forgiveness. In July this year, an article in Chinese news outlets claimed that Tajikistan’s Pamir Mountains historically belonged to China and should be returned. That article unsettled the Tajik government.
How much territory is involved? An easy way to find out is to look up China’s borders on Google Earth and Google Maps. Google is infested with Chinese employees whose greatest loyalty is to their motherland….

Why we’re still arguing about hydroxychloroquine
The battle over hydroxychloroquine began as a kind of trivial but apparently earnest and hopeful celebrity endorsement of the drug (the celebrity being President Trump). It has devolved into a real political and public-discourse horror show.
Perpetual back-and-forths between those prominent doctors who do not believe in the drug’s effectiveness — coronavirus task force members Anthony Fauci and Brett Giroir are two — and dissident, lesser-known doctors, such as Harvey Risch of Yale University, have given birth to serious questions about how truly scientific the whole conversation has been.
Can hydroxychloroquine be used effectively to treat COVID-19….?

Gingrich: We’re Seeing the ‘Dumbing Down of America for Three Generations’
“…I think what you’re seeing is the dumbing down of America for three generations, you’re seeing left-wing indoctrination and literally groupthink,” he said. “I do a podcast, and I talk about shut your mouth. There’s an entire series on where the left has told us, say what they want or else. I really think the time has come to take back the schools and to take back the universities. And I think that a lot of governors, frankly, aren’t doing their job when they allow public universities to be run by people who are radically anti-American….”

7-year-old boy in Georgia died ‘from COVID-19’?
Media leaving out key details
…So it seems that the boy died not “from COVID-19,” but rather as the result of a seizure and a fall in the shower. It seems that, prior to his death, the child had zero Wuhan virus symptoms….
…I don’t know about you, but I’ve followed the news and the science on this virus as closely as most anyone, and I have yet to hear any reports of the Wuhan virus causing seizures….

Bad medicine: Fauci’s HCQ Waterloo
Dr. Anthony Fauci has been hailed in the press as the nation’s top infectious disease expert. He’s been feted with presidential honors and high praise for his medical acumen. His policy disagreements with President Trump, supposedly as the voice of “science,” have made him a hero on the left. Such laurels and the implied power conveyed have led to some weird side-effects — such as his image featured on ladies’ underwear and declarations that he’s the sexiest man alive.
He’s still being posterized on the left with calls to “Thank Dr. Fauci.” Here’s one:
Screenshot, banner ad.
But it’s about time this idol topples, based on this summary about Fauci’s startlingly bad medicine and bad medical policy on COVID, which has in fact cost thousands of lives. And yes, he is very specifically to blame.
Virologist Steven Hatfill, writing in RealClearPolitics, summed up just how disastrous Fauci has been for America’s COVID response, based on Fauci’s suppression of evidence about hydroxychloroquine, the safest and most effective treatment for COVID based on all reputable studies, and the political power he’s used to halt its treatment even as the rest of the world got well from the inexpensive medication’s use…..
DeBlasio’s plan to destroy New York City is working wonderfully
By Andrea Widburg
The downward slide that started when De Blasio assumed the mayor’s office has become a freefall this summer, a casualty of De Blasio’s waltz with the Wuhan virus. As Monica Showalter has written, Governor “Killer” Cuomo, whose policies slaughtered thousands of elderly people in nursing homes, and Mayor “Trotsky” de Blasio, who’s systematically driving out the rich, are engaged in a power struggle with a hapless New York City caught between these two leftist narcissists.
Cuomo is still sufficiently connected to reality to try to stem the outflow of the city’s super-rich, who are responsible for 50% of NYC’s tax base. The mayor, however, is saying the equivalent of ‘good riddance to bad rubbish.’ When he says he doesn’t like rich people, de Blasio isn’t kidding….
…If you want to see what one of America’s finest cities looks like under the tender loving care of a hardcore Marxist, you have to check out the photographs in this Daily Mail article.
People have called de Blasio incompetent, but he’s not. His governance is entirely in line with his ideology – and his ideology is what is now powering the Biden campaign.
Everyone knows that Biden will not be president even if he wins. Instead, the country will be run by people aligned with Bernie’s openly communist policies — people just like de Blasio. New York, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco – with each of these cities, you’re getting a sneak preview of the American future the Democrat party has planned for the rest of us….

Revolutions tend to devour their own, but rarely has this happened as swiftly, publicly, and predictably as it did with Portland’s overpraised “Wall of Moms.”
The brainchild of a suburban Mexican-American woman named Beverly Barnum, the group was loosely organized among other moms on Facebook who were incensed that President Trump had dispatched federal officers to Portland to protect the federal courthouse that had become the main target of three-months-long protests in the city. Wearing yellow T-shirts and linking arms, the Moms created a “wall” between federal officers and Black Lives Matter protestors in July, chanting “Feds stay clear. Moms are here!” and calling themselves “Momtifa.”
Not surprisingly, the moms became instant media darlings. Barnum and others gave emotional interviews to reporters, and outlets like National Public Radio swooned over the women as brave symbols of motherhood and activism—contrasting sharply with the officers Trump had stationed around the courthouse. Sen. Ron Wyden called them “courageous” and copycat groups like Wall of Vets, Wall of Dads, Wall of Doctors — again, self-identified—also joined the Moms in downtown Portland….

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best reacted to the Seattle City Council’s approval of an amendment aimed at further defunding the police department by slashing the pay of Best and 12 members of the Seattle Police Department (SPD) command staff, questioning why the city would not want to fairly compensate the “best of the best.”
“Yeah, I’m not sure that’s legal to do. So, obviously we’ll be looking at that,” Best told KOMO News on Thursday of the proposed cuts. “But I will talk about my command staff, myself aside.”
Dispatches from the War: give peace a chance, or give the surreal a chance?
Salvador Dali, 1935: “Surrealism in its first period offered specific methods for approaching the images of concrete irrationality. These methods, based on the exclusively passive and receptive role of the surrealist subject, are now in liquidation and giving place to new surrealist methods of systematic exploration of the irrational.”
For example, a worldwide pandemic based on a virus no one discovered.

I’m all for peace, but against forced pacification. I also favor reporting on the surreal when it’s all around us.
Rioters burning buildings while wearing masks. Which masks? Anti-COVID or anti-identification? And if an obedient pod person wearing a bandana over his face wandering the empty streets of New York suddenly overflows with some unnamed impulse and throws a garbage can through a plate glass window, can he be doubly prosecuted for concealing his identity? Or is his sentence mitigated because he was following the governor’s mask directive?
I understand why people are wearing masks, but WHY ARE THEY WEARING THEM, if you catch my drift. Especially, when you’re in a store and they’re all around you in the flesh. WHAT IS THIS? A fashion show? A new kind of Pride parade? Are they all having the same hallucination….?

The people who run society are engaged in bringing systems and structures into interlocking alignment, in order to create larger and larger machines of control.
I keep returning to this territory, because the whole thrust of modern civilization is making the individual extinct.
Powerless, badly educated, adrift in technology, viewed as a unit tied to a massive collective—this is the picture of the individual.
Let’s go back to square one. The individual is fundamentally at odds with the State. The State wants control. The State wants loyalists, adherents, joiners, conformists. The individual wants freedom, if he has any inkling of his own power.
The basic makeup of the State is promoted as a We. We want this. We need this. We deserve this. We all agree on this. The ubiquitous We is floated on purpose. The aim is to eradicate the I. The individual.
The State wants all arguments to center on what We should get. Should We be given this or that? Should We have A or B? What is best for We?
This is where all the trouble starts….
