Another moron from the Democratic Party has launched an assault on a U.S. business, this time targeting Mattel for making “beautiful” dolls.

And what did the West Virgina ignoramus do in response to Mattel’s 50th Anniversary image killing makeover? Naturally he proposed legislation banning the sales of Barbie in the state.
The bill, H.B. 2918, titled A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new article, designated §47-25-1, relating to banning the sale of “Barbie” dolls and other dolls that influence girls to be beautiful.
And here is the text of the bill:
ARTICLE 25. BARBIE DOLLS.
§47-25-1. Unlawful sale of Barbie dolls.
It shall be unlawful in the state to sell “Barbie” dolls and other similar dolls that promote or influence girls to place an undue importance on physical beauty to the detriment of their intellectual and emotional development.NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to ban the sale of Barbie dolls and other similar dolls.
Note the specificity of the text, “other similar dolls”. This is the kind of language that allows the Democrat Party thought police to force their will on the people willy nilly. What’s next, models, makeup, hair care products, skirts, tooth whitener, perhaps Hollywood (nah, Democrat supporters are exempt of course)?
Imagine the response if a Republican proposed such an idiotic bill.
Congratulations to Jeff D. Eldridge, Democrat, Real Man of Genius, Weekend Weasel!!! He is what happens when the electorate doesn’t pay attention.
