A Few Words On Stephen Colbert

As many of you know, Stephen Colbert went on Monday’s broadcast of CBS’s The Late Show and unleashed one of the most hate filled Obscene rants in media history.

You can see the entire thing here, as I’d rather not besmirch the site with it. YouTube even refused to post it.

What Colbert’s rant was, supposedly, was a defense of Face The Nation host John Dickerson whom Colbert insisted Trump had insulted when the president joked that he referred to the show as ‘deface the nation.’

Colbert started off by saying, “Donald Trump, John Dickerson is a fair-minded journalist and one of the most competent people who will ever walk into your office, and you treat him like that?”

Actually, Dickerson is a far leftist who told President Barack Hussein Obama to “destroy the GOP,” to “delegitimize his opponents,” to “go for the throat” and “declare war on the Republican Party.”

Yep, fair minded. At least in Stephen Colbert’s twisted mind. So here’s a transcript of what he ad to say:

“Mr. President, I love your presidency. I call it ‘Disgrace the Nation,’” he began. “You’re not the POTUS; you’re the ‘BLOTUS.’ You’re the glutton with the button. You’re a regular ‘Gorge Washington.’ You’re the ‘presi-dunce’ but you’re turning into a real ‘prick-tator.’”

“Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine,” Colbert continued. “You have more people marching against you than cancer. You talk like a sign-language gorilla that got hit in the head.”

“In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s c*ck holster,” Colbert said, as the audience erupted in laughter and applause.

“Your presidential library is gonna be a kid’s menu and a couple of ‘Juggs’ magazines,” he concluded. “The only thing smaller than your hands are your tax returns … and you can take that any way you want.”

Ohhhh Kaay. So this is how some lame talk show host talks about the president of the United States. And it’s supposed to be comedy!

Among other things, apparently Stephen Colbert doesn’t even follow the news, not even on his own network. CBS News reported just two weeks ago on the frosty relationship between President Trump and Putin’s Russia.

Oh, well. It’s no news that this guy is an order of fries short of a Happy Meal.

There is something of a campaign going on to fire Stephen Colbert, particularly over that homophobic slur he used. #FireColbert a top trending topic on Twitter. CBS, of course, won’t fire him because the only thing they really care about is $$$$, and besides, they pretty much agree with Colbert behind the scenes. Of course, someone who wanted to work on getting Stephen Colbert fired would be far better off contacting his advertisers and letting them know you won’t be buying their products…and why.

I’ve always seen Colbert as a lowlife and a poor excuse for funny, so I personally don’t care how that goes down.

But here’s the real joke behind all this, and it’s truly funny. Colbert and his pals like the creep they had at the White House Correspondent’s dinner are helping President Trump no end.

They’re sending a message to everyone who voted for Trump (and probably, most of the people in what they derisively refer to as flyover country) that they, the elites totally despise them and that the president is merely a surrogate for them. The vicious attacks on him are a perfect representation of what they would say to them individually. In spite of the poisonous media attacks, one thing that is evident is that this sort of filth isn’t separating Trump from his voters. In fact, it’s making him bond more with them! How many ‘deplorable’ Americans might not say anything but would love nothing better than to shove the juvenile, foul mouthed verbiage Stephen Colbert is spewing right back down his lying teeth? Probably a lot more than we think. And where they’ll prove it is in the voting booth.

So in his own way, people like Stephen Colbert are helping Donald Trump and his movement no end as well as destroying themselves. And that makes me chuckle with glee as I write this.
