A white tourist died in New York City when a stranger he had mistaken for his Uber driver (no race given) punched him and his head struck the sidewalk.
A Florida tourist died after a driver [no race given] punched him in the head with such force that he fell unconscious when he hit the pavement, according to several reports released Tuesday.
Sabor Szabo, 35, of Boca Raton, succumbed to his injuries after a driver [no race given] allegedly assaulted him in Long Island City in Queens, New York, early Sunday morning, WPEC reported.
Szabo, who attended his stepsister’s wedding during the weekend, knocked on a car window thinking it was the Uber he requested. The driver then got out of his vehicle and punched Szabo….
…Police said the attacker fled the scene in a white SUV. Authorities describe the suspect as a man wearing jeans and a light-colored long-sleeved shirt.
Let’s forget for a while that the mayor of New York routinely shields so-called, “minorities” from police and ICE agents. Political correctness running amok, destroying American law, traditions, and values. Just forget that part.
The problem facing us all here today is: the so-called, “description” of a wanted apparent killer gets his jeans, shirt, and SUV listed, but leaves out his race.
That is not a description worthy of the lowest, dumbest cop. The police know what race this killer is. But they don’t reveal it. Why not? What’s to hide? What’s to cover up?
What’s the Truth?
If I—a lowly ex-private eye—might presume to ask Mr. Illustrious, Highly Trained, New York Policeman: just how many people does that flubbed discription narrow it down to? I mean—was this guy who “fled” maybe caucasian white? Because that would include about 43% of New York City listed in the US Census as white Caucasian.
About 25% are listed as, “black or African American.” Although how they know what percentage are “American,” and not, say, Haitian, Dominican, Somali, or sub-Saharan African—I don’t know.
I mean, what if someone is a Haitian-American, or Haitian-Haitian-But-Not-American, how would they know, and why do they still call such “African American?”
Some 29% of the New York City population is listed as Hispanic or Latino. But that doesn’t say what percentage of them might be “black.” I mean George Zimmerman (of Trayvon Martin fame) was described as “a white Hispanic.” So I guess there are “black” Hispanics?
Or maybe Native Hispanics, as in aboriginal?
I think I am not actually allowed to say, “aboriginal,” because wikipedia doesn’t seem to do it much. They mostly say, “indigenous.”
Britannica says aboriginal, but maybe they haven’t gotten the memo yet?
Northern Mexican Indian: …member of any of the aboriginal peoples inhabiting northern Mexico.
Wikipedia, for the most part, is more politically correct as they seem to turn handsprings while bending backwards in the effort:
“Indigenous peoples of Mexico, Native Mexicans, or Mexican Native Americans, are those who are part of communities that trace their roots back to populations and communities that existed in what is now Mexico prior to the arrival of Europeans.” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigenous_peoples_of_Mexico
Wow. Mexican Indian (indigenous) populates are now “Mexican Native Americans.”
So…what the hell was this criminal who fled the scene in his white SUV, jeans and white long sleeved shirt?
Was he Caucasian, or “black,” or African-American-American, or maybe from northern Mexico? Because then he’d be a “Native American.”
Are we still allowed to call US Native Americans Athabaskan? Because that might help separate Sioux from Mexican Native Americans. I mean, I dunno….
It’s confusing (who writes this stuff?):
The United States government identifies several racial groups, including Asian American, Black or African American, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian and Alaska Native and White. The terms are often used to identify various societal groups. Reference.com
…all human beings belong to a single species and are descended from a common stock. Legal and political language use the term races in the plural sense in order to cover different ethnicities or geographically characterizable subgroups, such as Caucasians, Africans, Mongoloids. Because of the well-established (but erroneous) custom, political and legal language is still using this term. Encyclopedia.com
Maybe we should do something totally wild and crazy, like use explicitly defining names for different races?
Maybe then we could get a complete fricking DESCRIPTION of the killer who fled the scene—no race given—after causing the death of a “white” tourist.
